BREAKING NEWS 20/12/2012.  We have had a successful November and December 2012, with about twenty polo playing visitors in total and at times we have had a dozen polo visitors!  We had an excellent time with trips to the Palermo Open preliminary games, semi finals and of course finals where we saw La Dolfina defeat Ellerstina.  We have taken visitors to La Quinta, the Tomlinson's farm in Pilar, and to La Zeta, the Ellerstina breeding operation and embryo transfer facility.  As the season winds down, we are slowly sending club horses to rest in Santa Fe and we will be back in action in late January!

BREAKING NEWS 13/12/2012.  The Capilla Polo Club polo team are overall winners of the 12-goal "Copa Cacique" run by the Association Argetino de Polo (AAP), the governing body of polo in Argentina.  This knockout tournament started with 100 teams from all over Argentina and the team had to win 7 games on handicap in a row to arrive at the final, which was played at the famous Palermo grounds in Buenos Aires.  The match started with heavy rain which forced players off the field in the first chukka but it soon relented and play resumed after half an hour.  For full photos, click on this link:
